It was a festive atmosphere on our grounds as our school community gathered for our much-anticipated Junior School Interhouse Athletics Carnival.
The carnival featured a wide array of events that showcased the skills and determination of our Year 3-6 students. Our young athletes competed in traditional track events, including sprints and relays, as well as field events such as javelin, discus, and long jump. Each participant demonstrated remarkable effort and sportsmanship, embodying the values we hold dear at St James’.
In a display of outstanding teamwork and skill, Eglinton emerged as the champions of the day, defending their title from last year! Their athletes demonstrated remarkable talent and determination across all events, securing them their fourth victory in total, moving them to the top of all the time JS Carnival leaderboard! Congratulations Eglinton on your fantastic achievement!
