Our first Food4All delivery for the year was a wonderful reflection of the generosity and compassion within our school community. Following our Term 1 House Charity Day, we were able to collect an incredible range of non-perishable food items and essential supplies to support local families in need.
On Tuesday 31 March, a total of 7 crates and 4 bags were delivered, filled with cereals, milk, tea and coffee, soup, tinned vegetables and fruit, school snack items, condiments, pasta, sauces, biscuits, and toiletries. These contributions will go a long way in assisting families who rely on the Food4All service each week.
We were proud to have three of our Year 7 students, stay after school to assist in organising and packing the donations, demonstrating initiative and a strong commitment to service from a young age. Mrs Syme delivered the items and had the valuable opportunity to meet families accessing the service in Yanchep, gaining firsthand insight into the impact of our contributions. We must also thank our Food Technologies department who generously prepared a range of nutritious, home-cooked meals to support families in need within the community. These meals were made available for families to collect.
We extend our sincere thanks to our entire school community for your ongoing support of our House Charity Days. Through these efforts, we are able to continue building meaningful partnerships and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
