Links to the Senior School
We passionately support the establishment of a learning environment that cultivates meaningful connections between our Junior and Senior School students. We hold a steadfast belief that nurturing interactions among students of different age groups significantly enriches their educational experience.
Our goal is to cultivate a sense of belonging and inclusion among the students, encouraging friendship and ultimately enhancing their overall wellbeing.
Nurturing meaningful connections
Beyond the classroom walls
Our approach is grounded on the understanding that learning extends beyond the classroom walls. By encouraging interactions between younger and older students, we create a holistic educational environment that offers a multitude of benefits including providing mentoring opportunities, developing social and emotional growth, sharing knowledge, creating a sense of unity.
We actively encourage our Senior School students to engage in collaborative activities and offer support to their Junior School peers. This engagement takes various forms, including active participation in Junior School events and sports carnivals. Additionally, our students frequently come together during lessons and through various connection programs designed to bridge the gap between different year groups.

Initiatives
KUDA Program
Every week Year 7 and Year 8 students participate in our Kuda Program in the Junior School. The main objective of this program is to foster a sense of social inclusion and ease for the younger students. During these visits, students engage in activities such as reading to each other, playing board games and having conversations. This interaction aims to assist our youngest learners in developing confidence and a strong sense of identity within our school community.
Coding Club
Introducing our distinctive after-school coding club program, uniting Junior School and Senior School students. Within this integrated coding club, students immerse themselves in a practical exploration of Digital Technologies, delving into diverse coding languages, software applications and hardware tools. Together, they engage in collaborative coding projects, address real-world challenges and have the chance to proudly present their innovative creations.
This initiative not only strengthens the bonds between Junior School and Senior School students but also prepares them for a future where collaboration and technological skills are essential.
CHILDREN, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY
In our Senior School, students studying Children, Family, and Community (CFC) enjoy a special opportunity to engage with our ELC students. These structured interactions are designed to facilitate meaningful learning experiences while building connections and camaraderie among our young learners. CFC students gain practical insights into child development, enhancing both their knowledge and the sense of unity within our school community.
