Celebrating the Class of 2023

Today, we celebrate a significant milestone in our journey at St James’ Anglican School – the release of our results for the Class of 2023. It is with great pleasure and pride that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of our Class of 2023 students for their exceptional efforts and achievements throughout the year.

Your efforts, dedication, and the countless hours of hard work have paid off, and your achievements are nothing short of exceptional. Whether you have achieved your desired result or surpassed your expectations, be proud of yourselves – your accomplishments reflect your talent, perseverance, and the endless possibilities that lie ahead.

In particular, I express my congratulations to Tongxin Sycamore, who with an ATAR score of 98.40, is St James’ top ATAR performer in 2023. I also extend my congratulations to Mitchell Briggs (ATAR Score 94.30) and Isaac Hastings (ATAR Score 92.25) for their achievements this year.

I am proud to say that 33% of our students ranked in the top 10% of ATAR students across WA. In addition to this, 98% of our students received their WACE, while 21 of our students received VET certificates.

It is important to recognise that behind every successful student, there is a support system that plays an instrumental role in shaping their journey. To our incredible teachers and staff, I extend my deepest gratitude for your unwavering commitment, boundless enthusiasm, and tireless efforts in guiding our students throughout this year. Your expertise, passion for teaching, and genuine care for our students have undoubtedly contributed to their remarkable success.

To the parents and families of our students, thank you for entrusting us with the education and growth of your children. Your support and partnership have been invaluable, and we are grateful for the trust you have placed in St James’ Anglican School.

As we bid farewell to 2023, let us not only celebrate the academic achievements but also reflect on the collective journey we have undertaken together. The challenges we faced have only strengthened our resolve, and the successes we celebrate today are a testament to the collaborative spirit that defines St James’ Anglican School.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
