Congratulations to Year 6 students Jorja and Jacob, who have been achieving fantastic results in competitive cheerleading this year.

Both students compete across two teams — Skyrocket, a Level 1 Elite team, and Havoc, a Level 2 team. So far this year, Skyrocket has placed first at both competitions, including being awarded Grand Champions at the first competition. Grand Champion is an overall award presented to the highest-scoring team across all age groups within that level.

Havoc has also achieved impressive results, placing second at both competitions so far this year.

Skyrocket’s outstanding performances have earned the team the exciting opportunity to travel to the Gold Coast to compete at the National Cheerleading Championships in November.

With four more competitions still to come before Nationals, Jorja and Jacob have plenty more opportunities to showcase their skills, teamwork and dedication.
