We are excited to unveil a stunning new art installation on campus: the Noongar Seasons Poles.
This beautiful project was a collaboration between our students and Noongar artist Bianca Willder from OOAK Creations. Over several days, Bianca worked with students to help them design and paint six vibrant poles, each representing one of the Noongar seasons.
Through this hands-on experience, our students explored the rich cultural heritage of the Noongar people, learning about the changing seasons and the deep connection to land and nature. The finished poles now stand proudly on our campus, reminding us all of the importance of Indigenous culture.
Thank you to Bianca and to everyone involved in making this vision a reality. These poles are not only an artwork but a lasting reminder of our commitment to reconciliation and respect for Noongar culture.
