The Year 11 cohort participated in an overnight retreat at school as part of the pastoral care and retreat programs. The event provided students with an opportunity to strengthen peer connections, foster teamwork and enjoy time together in a relaxed and familiar setting.
As part of the program, students completed a Service activity that originated from their CAVE lessons. This initiative involved assembling school stationery packs for primary-aged students in preparation for the new academic year. Working collaboratively in small groups, students sourced and packed essential school supplies, reflecting thoughtfully on their own primary school experiences and recognising the significance of giving back to others.
Students enjoyed fresh burgers, packed care bags for people in need as part of a service activity, and faced off against teachers in friendly (but competitive!) games of volleyball and dodgeball.
There may not have been much sleep, but there was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and great memories made along the way.
