We celebrated our Year 12s on their final day of school on the 26 September! Dressed up in iconic duos, trios or groups, they enjoyed a full day of fun activities, spending time together and reminiscing about their incredible journeys at St James’. While it was bittersweet, their last day was filled with laughter, memories and the reminder that this marks the start of an exciting new chapter in their lives. This is a meaningful and memorable time for our Year 12s and their families.
On the 22 October, we farewelled our Class of 2025 in true St James’ spirit. The morning began with hot drinks at Deja Brew, followed by a special assembly celebrating their achievements and reflecting on their time at the School. After a standing ovation from students in Years 6-11, our Year 12s made their way through the traditional Passing Out Parade, walking from the Common Room to Pre-primary where they shared cupcakes with some of our youngest students. To finish the day, each student added their handprint and words of encouragement to the Leavers Hub — a lasting reminder for future graduates.
On the 23 October, we celebrated our Class of 2025 with a beautiful Valedictory Eucharist and Ceremony, marking the end of their St James’ journey. The service, led by Reverend Marie Aitken, was a heartfelt moment of reflection and gratitude before families, staff and special guests gathered to acknowledge our graduates’ achievements. We were honoured to welcome Mr Ivan McLean(COO, AngliSchools), Mr Chris Hall (former Head of Senior School) and Councillor Sonet Coetzee from the City of Wanneroo. After the Eucharist, families mingled and took photos before the Valedictory Ceremony, which featured wonderful student performances and a special video created by the Year 12 Media Students, a perfect celebration of hard work and achievement. Thank you to all the families for their support of our Year 12s during their time at St James’. We wish them the very best as they step into the next chapter of their lives.
Congratulations to our Class of 2025 — we are so proud of you!
