Our Year 12 Food students teamed up with our Pre-Primary students for a special cooking class. The students were tasked with cooking a meal based on a particular culture, allowing them to learn about different cuisines and traditions.
The Year 12 students took on the role of mentors, guiding the Pre-Primary students through each step of the cooking process. From chopping vegetables to mixing ingredients, the older students provided support and encouragement, helping the younger ones gain confidence in the kitchen.
It was a joy to see the collaboration and interaction between the students of different ages. The Year 12 students demonstrated leadership and patience, while the Pre-Primary students showed enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
Together, they worked as a team to create a delicious meal that they could all enjoy together, and a wonderful example of how students of all ages can come together to share knowledge, skills, and experiences.
