St James’ is thrilled to share the incredible impact of our partnership with the not-for-profit organisation EatUp this year! Together, we launched ‘Cub Sandwiches,’ a service initiative aimed at supporting local primary schools’ breakfast and lunch programs.
Why Cub Sandwiches?
Because 1 in 4 Australian children attend school without breakfast or lunch. We wanted to make a difference in our community and address this alarming statistic.
Our Amazing Impact:
2,000+ Sandwiches Made and Delivered
In the past four months, our dedicated volunteers came together to organise sandwich-making sessions, resulting in over 2,000 sandwiches delivered to six local primary schools.
$500+ Raised for EatUp
Through ticket sales to these sessions, we have not only made a tangible impact but also raised over $500.00 for EatUp, contributing to their mission of ensuring no child goes hungry.
