When Mia (Year 3) decided to cut her hair she asked what would happen to the parts that get cut off. It was suggested to Mia that she could donate it to someone who could use it. After a little research, Mia and her family found the Australia Alopacea Areata Foundation (link below). Where they receive hair donations which are then turned into wigs for children suffering from the condition. Mia was delighted to be able to donate her hair for someone else in need.
Well done Mia – we think it looks great!
